Booking an Official 5 or 7 Day Package

We can purchase any of the official packages from Ryder Cup Travel Services that are listed on our Ryder Cup Packages Page. We will book these packages on your behalf subject to the Terms and Conditions.

To book a package and secure a season ticket to the Ryder Cup matches please follow the steps below.

Where an official Ryder Cup Package is purchased in addition to a golf itinerary arranged by Tailor-Made Golf Tours the steps set out below are valid and the portion of the total itinerary outside the days covered by the official package are subject to the normal conditions of booking a Tailor-Made Golf Tour.

1. Select Your Hotel

Ryder Cup Packages that include tickets to the event are currently only available through the official European Tour travel agency. These packages require you to select one of the many hotels available in Dublin or in towns surrounding the K-Club. The packages include the specified number of nights accommodation, transfers to and from the K-Club, a standard entry season ticket to four days of the Ryder Cup (3 playing days plus the final practice day/opening ceremony), a Ryder Cup celebration evening (Thursday September 21st) and your choice of an exclusive RCTS gift.

To select a hotel visit our Ryder Cup Packages page or see a summary of available hotels. Demand for packages is strong so it is highly recommended that you also select a 2nd and 3rd choice hotel on the enquiry sheet.

2. Submit Your Enquiry Sheet

Complete our online enquiry sheet (available here) or complete a specific hotel sheet direct from the hotel information page. You must supply an address, telephone number and e-mail address. All personal details are treated in the strictest confidence and never divulged to third parties without your express consent.

3. Availability Check

We will check the availability of your chosen package at your chosen hotel. If your chosen package is available it will be reserved exclusively for you and the included services specified in the Ryder Cup package proposal that will be sent by e-mail and/or fax to you.

The proposal will contain an option date (5 days from date of issue of proposal) by which you must return a signed Ryder Cup Package Booking Form together with a signed copy of the Ryder Cup Package proposal.

4. Purchase Confirmation

On or before the option date return

• a signed Ryder Cup Package Booking Form
• a signed copy of the Ryder Cup Package Proposal

All services reserved at step 3 will be automatically cancelled if the confirmations above are not received on or before 5 p.m. GMT on the option date.

5. Invoicing

Once the Ryder Cup Package Booking Form has been received we will raise an invoice for the total services specified in the proposal. Your Invoice and Confirmed Package Schedule (a copy of your signed proposal amended where appropriate in accordance with your instructions) will be e-mailed and sent by registered mail or express courier.

6. Payment of Deposit (for option dates before 30th September 2005)

A deposit of 20% of the total invoice must be received within 10 days of the date of issue of that invoice. Payments can only be accepted in Euro. Failure to receive the deposit by the due date will result in all booked services being cancelled.

7. Second and Final Payment

A further 30% of the total invoice must be received on or before October 28th 2005.

The balance of payment (i.e. 50% of invoice total) must be received on or before March 24th 2006.

Failure to pay either installment on or before these dates is subject to clause "Late Payment" in the terms and conditions.

8. Vouchers/Tickets

Your Ryder Cup tickets, hotel vouchers, ground transport vouchers and vouchers for any other service included in the package will be sent to us by Ryder Cup Travel Services. It is anticipated by Ryder Cup Travel Services that all vouchers will be issued approximately 6 weeks before the event.

• 'Check-in' Vouchers: These provide details of the confirmed rooms and must be presented in order to the Hotel on arrival. These check-in vouchers are valuable bearer certificates and should be treated as irreplacable.
• 'Breakfast Vouchers': One voucher is issued for each morning
• 'Transport Vouchers': One voucher is issued for each morning and afternoon transfer to/from the K-Club. Transfer vouchers must be presented to the driver on each journey, failure to produce a vocuher will result in the driver refusing to carry you.
• 'Ryder Cup Tickets': Your Ryder Cup tickets are irreplacable

Tailor-Made Golf Tours will send your vouchers in a sealed packet via insured and registered courier to the address you specify and to be delivered only to you. No other person will be authorised to sign for the delivery unless expressly authorised to do so by you.

Alternatively, Tailor-Made Golf Tours will keep your documents securely for personal delivery to you in Ireland.

9. Terms and Conditions

If you would like to purchase an official Ryder Cup package from Tailor-Made Golf Tours please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. The receipt of a signed proposal is an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
